As the UK Government pushes ahead with its Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) – a £1 billion plan which aims to boost the UK’s economic recovery from Covid-19 as well as the Government’s net zero and clean growth goals – both firms have seen heightened demand for their services from public entities including the NHS. The new strategic partnership between Archus and Square Gain will therefore ultimately support the ambitions for the achievement of net zero health care.
Commenting on the partnership, Archus Executive Director Chris Turner said, “Archus are committed to supporting our clients in the delivery of a Greener NHS. We are delighted to be working with Square Gain to expand our portfolio of services in the creation of sustainable infrastructure and healthcare to help realise the vision of a net zero health service by 2040.”
Building on several projects, the two companies are already delivering together as part of the move towards a greener NHS. Alongside expert advice in the development of zero carbon and green buildings, the partnership will also offer NHS clients support in both strategy and implementation across the full spectrum of sustainability related services including environmental management systems, supply chain risk management, sustainable finance, ESG, corporate responsibility and sustainable facilities management.
Greg Chant Hall, Director and Lead Advisor at Square Gain, added, “The ambitious goals set by NHS leaders for sustainability are an imperative for the future health of our planet and population. Our experienced team are looking forward to working with Archus to delivering practical sustainable solutions which support NHS clients both strategically and operationally.”
