Support Worker/Carer – Yew House Ltd – Cambridge

Part time and Full time job vacancy as a Support Worker to Adults with mild learning disabilities.

Working within a team of 12, both positions involve supporting a really independant, kind and fun group of adults in their own homes over two locations. One in Cherry Hinton, Cambridge and one in West Wratting, Cambridge. Successful applicants will support them with their daily lives by helping them cook, clean, attend appointments and evening activities such as the cinema, pub and bowling.

Shifts are a mix of days, evenings and a few sleep-ins a month.

Must be kind, patient and caring and must be a car driver.

Hourly rate starts at £9.10 without qualifications and we will give you all the training you need with pay going up as you complete the relevant courses.

COVID-19 considerations:
Regular weekly COVID19 testing is carried out. One PCR test per week plus LFD tests (all provided).
Masks are worn all the time on premises with PPE available when ever required.
Temperature checks are carried out at the start of each shift.
