Job Title: Senior Care Assistant (Night Duty)
Location: Ratheane Care Home, Coleraine
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent

Macklin Care Homes are currently recruiting Senior Care Assistants to join their friendly, caring and progressive Ratheane Care Home. This is a vital role within the Home, working as a team to lead the delivery of excellent care to much loved residents.


  • Lead and work collaboratively with the care team to deliver excellent quality, person-centred care to all residents
  • Enrich the lives of residents through the organisation and delivery of activities
  • Proactively encourage and develop team members
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in line with Home procedures
  • Assist inducting new team members into their role and the Home
  • Advocate and promote the company mission, vision and values
  • Supporting the nursing team to ensure compliance with policies and procedures

Ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a caring role
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to lead and develop a team
  • Experience of training and supporting new staff members
  • Exceptional communicator at all levels
  • Committed to consistently delivering a high standard of care

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.08-£10.68 per hour
