Receptionist/Clerical Officer – Dental – Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust – Nelson

To efficiently assist with the daily running of dental treatment services for the Lancashire Care Dental Service. This will include all aspects of booking appointments, dealing with telephone and counter enquiries from the public, other health care professionals and other dentists. To undertake various clerical duties including providing clerical assistance to clinicians and senior staff.

The Lancashire Care Dental Service is looking to recruit an enthusiastic highly motivated Receptionist to join our dental team in Yarnspinners, Nelson. We provide a number of services including special care, urgent care, paediatric dentistry and teaching across Central and East Lancashire. You must demonstrate excellent communication skills, initiative drive and the ability to work within a team. You should also have effective interpersonal skills enabling you to communicate with people at all levels, face to face and over the telephone.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Sunday) to cover out of hours.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
