What does a support worker do? No two days ever look the same. You’ll be supporting people with anything and everything including; personal care, arts and crafts, gardening, shopping, cooking, cleaning, attending appointments, activities in the community, going on holiday or even just going out for a walk and grabbing a cuppa. You could think of it as less of a job and more of just supporting someone with their day to day life!

Withersfield Lodge is a supported living service for adults aged 30+ with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism spectrum conditions and individuals with ADD and/or ADHD. Withersfield Lodge specialises in supporting people who have previously lived in a residential setting and require support to make choices and decisions in their lives. Withersfield Lodge is a large detached house with a large enclosed rear garden benefiting from mature shrubs and trees. As well as seven bedrooms there is a lounge, an additional quiet room, dining room and separate kitchen, 3 bathrooms.

You do not need to have experience to be a Support Worker, although a basic level of English and Maths is required. We employ our Support Workers based on their values.
