New to care or experienced? Join us as a Support Worker at Withersfield in Haverhill. Withersfield Lodge is a supported living service for adults aged 30+ with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism spectrum conditions and individuals with ADD and/or ADHD. Withersfield Lodge specialises in supporting people who have previously lived in a residential setting and require support to make choices and decisions in their lives. Withersfield Lodge is a large detached house with a large enclosed rear garden benefiting from mature shrubs and trees. As well as seven bedrooms there is a lounge, an additional quiet room, dining room and separate kitchen, 3 bathrooms.

No experience necessary as full training will be provided


Your new job:
Shifts are on a rota basis from 7am to 2.30pm and 2pm to 10pm 5 days a week, including working every other weekend and Bank Holidays.

You will be working as part of a friendly team, supporting vulnerable adults with a range of physical, mental and learning disabilities. As a Support Worker you will play a vital part in providing the people we support with care and be able to profoundly improve their quality of life. You will assist people who are unable to live independently by offering them the practical help they need, as well as emotional support.

This may include:

  • Completing and maintaining detailed records, reports and notes
  • Cleaning, cooking and shopping
  • Planning and engaging in activities
  • Administering and recording medication

You do not need to have experience to be a Support Worker, although a basic level of English and Maths is required. We employ our Support Workers based on their values.
